We are pleased to announce that another series of our popular statistics workshops will be held in 2017. There may be a limited number of places for external participants at a higher fee.
30 November-1 December 2017 (Alan Gelfand, Duke University)
This 2-day course on Statistical Ecology will be held in Dunedin in advance of the Statistics in Ecology and Environmental Monitoring (SEEM) conference in Queenstown (6-8 December 2017). The format will be in lecture blocks, i.e., it will not comprise the hands-on computer format of previous workshops.
It is recommended that attendees already have background knowledge in statistical inference, i.e. likelihood, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, likelihood ratio tests and knowledge of generalized linear models.
More information on the course including a reading list can be found in this PDF.
